The Washington Football Team formally know as the Redskin until 2019 has officially released their new team name to a mixture of opinions. After 2 years of being known as the Football Team they hype was there for Washington’s new name, yet nothing has been going there way from scandals, locker room activity to now the name being leaked before they even announced it; the Washington Commanders may just wanna switch right back to Football Team and rebuild their credit. Commanders to me is a very lackluster name, I think this would be a generic name for a high school or a NFL Street team name. On top of the announcement on February 2nd they released their new uniforms which all look about the same with minor details in the numbers or logos which didn’t change much. Honestly if I was a Washington fan I’d focus my energy to the Nations since the Wizards are done for the season.
