It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Earl Simmons better known to the world as DMX. The 90’s icon sadly passed away on April 9th, 2021 after a week long battle from a heart attacked caused by an overdose, Simmons suffered cerebral hypoxia (lack of oxygen in the brain) which left him in a vegetable-like state, he was 50 years old. X leaves behind 15 children along with his best friend/ex-wife Tashera Simmons. We know the legend of Dark Man X, from his debut album, “It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot” in 1998 being one of the best freshman releases ever, X has a discography packed with classics so rather then hat new listeners, let them enjoy the legacy now left behind, may he rest in peace.
