Circles – Mac Miller (1 year ago)
Starting off is Mac Miller’s final studio album “Circles” released in 2019. Circles was a fantastic follow up to his 2018 album “Swimming” that was meant to be a trio series titled “Swimming in Circles.” A must listen, should have won a Grammy but nevertheless this is art.
Music to Be Murdered By – Eminem (1 Year Ago)
Eminem released his 11th studio album “Music to Be Murdered By” in 2019. The album was okay, I never got into like some did but it did have a few songs that went, mainly due to the features from Royce Da 5’9″. He did release a deluxe edition called “Side-B” on December 18th but I never checked it out.
Do You Want More?!!!?? – The Roots (26 Years Ago)
The Roots released their second studio album “Do You Want More?!!!??” in 1995. The Philly-based group dropped a jazz-rap gem that I feel is overlooked by many, Black Thought has been that dude since 93′. Classic album with fantastic production, if you never heard this before change that.
Juice – (29 Years Ago)
Juice was released in theaters back in 1992. The film saw Tupac Shakur in his second acting role but this time rather then a cameo he had a star role as Bishop. The film followed 4 Harlem kids on a quest for power and happiness, the “juice” as it is called. Omar Epps, Samuel L. Jackson and Queen Latifah also had roles in the film.
