SEB DESIGN teamed up with fellow artist KICKY to release a masterpiece centered around a living legend, Kendrick Lamar. This is the first piece SEB has posted since his Drake artwork back in January of 2022 but he does not disappoint with KICKY and him delivery in great detail. I love the design that features nods to some of Kendricks work such as the butterfly which represents “To Pimp A Butterfly”: the Black Panther like piece on his lap for his involvement in the Black Panther Soundtrack, the red book which could stand for “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” SEB DESIGN has never put out a bad canvas with this being one of his best pieces to date, I really love the high mountains in the background along with this old temple set that nature has slowly taken back over the decades which to me is a setup to how Kendrick Lamar brings back a more traditional sound in his music but with new age elements.
