Bay Area based artist Yung Wavy is back in 2023 with new music, releasing his second single of the year, “FUK THE STORM” on January 15th, 2023. The song is short but soothing as Yung Wavy raps about focusing on the now versus what has concluded to improve yourself or the situation you’re in. He keeps it simple on the flow/wordplay but it goes well with the beat; produced by Tarab who is unknown to me but did craft a mellow, smokers like anthem. This is a solid song that has me looking forward to more from this young, talented brother; hopefully we get some longer tracks or possibly an EP this year but for now show some major love to Yung Wavy!
