Dre Wave$ released a music video for his song “Played Out” off of his recently released album, “Worth the Weight” on October 5th, 2022. “Played Out” is the comeback story of Wave$ as he raps about how so many people wrote him off so he had to grind his way to take over the top of the food chain. His flow/wordplay is absurd on this track, he really goes in without breaking a sweat; I’d compare Dre Wave’s to Jalen Hurtz with his humble but hungry attitude. Production is fire, really love this slow, soulful beat that amps up during his verses. Gotta show love to Q Visions and Maggie Rudisill who handled the filming & directing of the music video; the scenery was beautiful along with the vibrant angles that kept the flow refreshing on the whole track.
