Going Underground is a traditional record store with your boxes of vinyl, $1 bins and unique pieces but has sadly been hit with a storage break along with security issues that are running up cost for the beautiful store. As mentioned in a pinned Instagram post a recent storage break in has hurt the stores inventory while also driving up cost to improve their security as they are located in Bakersfield’s downtown district which if you know anything about Bakersfield, CA is a very rough place. To help battle these cost Going Underground has set up a GoFundMe with a $5,000 goal; currently they have raised $776 of that goal.
