It was reported today that the man behind the legendary card game/manga Yu-Gi-Oh, Kazuki Takahashi was found dead at sea this afternoon. The father behind one of the most iconic card games is believed to have been snorkeling in southwestern Japan when the body was discovered; it was also uncovered that a marine animal may have attacked Kazuki but nothing concrete has been put together due to the nature of his passing. If you grew up in the late 90s, early 00’s than you’ve heard of Yu-Gi-Oh by either playing the game or watching the show, it remains one of the highest selling card games that left a huge mark in the Japanese-American culture share. May his family find peace in this hard time and the millions he touched through his work find comfort in his passing.
