Cleopatra Records CEO Brian Perera recently caught up with legendary guitarist Steve Stevens in an unexpected collaboration with surprising end results. Steve Stevens who was the guitarist for Billy Idol who helped with the iconic Top Gun anthem recently met up with Brian Perera for a shellshock of a photo. In Mr. Perera’s hands is the limited edition splatter 7″ vinyl for the single “White Rabbit” that Steve Stevens collaborated with Helsinki Vampire artist Jyrki 69 of The 69 Eyes. Now I love me a good splatter record so let me tell you this, the picture doesn’t do justice other than the colors because the black & white splatter looks fantastic as does the sleeve which is very simple but has the awesome cover art in full display. It is awesome to see how open Stevens is to unexpected collaborations like this, who knows what the future holds but we will have are eyes glued for more from Cleopatra Records!
