“I finally rest, and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe”: Tom Brady Announces Retirement

The future begins for a new generation of quarterbacks as the legendary Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL on February 1st after deciding on if he’d like to play or not. After 22 seasons in the NFL Brady has decided he may now rest after ruling over the league when he won the starting job in 2001 all the way until retirement; accumulating 7 rings, 6 with the New England Patriots and 1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Arguably the GOAT at QB with nearly every stat under the sun having his name to it we can all recall a time of hating this menace of an athlete unless you’re me where in 2017 my Eagles beat Tom with a little “Philly Special.” Game recognize game as Tom will be the undisputable GOAT at QB to me but as he leaves the league we will see the rise of a new legend.

  1. Great player, but his career will always be colored by controversy and shady behind-the-scenes activity.
