We here at The Musical Hippie our sad to announce the passing of the iconic Meat Loaf who passed from complications with COVID-19 at age 74. I was never a big fan of Meat Loaf, I had only just recently watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show back in October for the first time and loved his performance as Eddie; As a musician I am only familiar with his studio debut album “Bat Out Of Hell” which is a great LP. Meat Loaf was a very memorable person however, from Fight Club to Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, his look/name always stayed in my memory. Salute to a fallen icon, he had plans to record new music starting this month but it sadly won’t happen, condolences to his friends & family.
