You (Cover) – PartyONE (Single)

Bakersfield based artist PartyONE released a cover of DJ Regard & Troye Sivan’s single “You” on August 8th, 2021. Before we cover PartyONE’S take on the single I wanna give my thoughts on the original, “You” by Troye Sivan & Tate McRae is a pop/club style track with elements of electro that focuses on that special someone. Your heart skips a beat, when your faded at the club you have them on speed dial. Tate and Troye’s voices are magnificent, the usage of autotone doesn’t take away from their combined talents as they sing the song of lost love. My brother doesn’t change the lyrics up much other then his flow/delivery but he does improve the track by slowing it down, giving it a really elegant feel as PartyONE’s rocks the track. This is a remix that improves the full experience for me, I really enjoyed this slowed down production, the drums have more ump to them while the echo’s of PartyONE’s voice travel overseas in a wonderful way, this was a great remix for a good track. Follow PartyONE for more music, wonderful, down to Earth brother who has shown nothing but love for the site.
