Dre Wave$ released a brand new music video for his single “Soul Ties” on May 30th, 2021. Wave$ crashes a passionate two verses full of storytelling where he speaks on teachings from his father, lessons learned from the hate a bully gave him too enjoying the fruit of his labor. His raspy but smooth voice provided comfort on this soft, methodic beat that’s packed to the brim with soul. The music video is shot well, TyAndre’ handled the direction of the video with a bunch of wonderful up-close shots reminiscent of Spike Lee. Dope song with a fitting video, show love to both brothers involved.
