DemarcoTheMan dropped his latest single, “Fortitude” on February 15th, 2021. The singles theme is very straight forward by the title but to break this down like some tree, DemarcoTheMan starts off on staying strong to your roots with your family but after a beat switch that is signature to strange pop “Fortitude” begins to talk about the homies in the hood stuck between reality and the system while also trying to reach the queens held down by the brothers stuck in the trap. Demarco has always been a poet with his flow/delivery which is shown off even more by the hidden knowledge in his lyrics, truly a remarkable MC. Production was also proper, as I mentioned previously his tracks often have a beat switch towards the middle which never fails to deliver, great work on this track. Show love to my homie, always grinding.
