Double K of P.U.T.S. Passes Away at 43

I am sorry to announce that Double K of People Under the Stairs has sadly passed away, age 43. Born Michael Turner, Double K was one-half of LA based duo People Under the Stairs from 1997 until 2019. K along with Thes One both only chased the respect of their fellow MC’s and DJ’s as P.U.T.S. stayed true to being underground, debuting in 1997 with “The Next Step” which featured my favorite track, “San Francisco Knights.” Information of his passing has been scarce but we send our condolences to his family, friends and peers.
