Los Angeles, CA artist Mei (meijun.e) released a new single titled “Rudimental” on August 7th, 2020. First things first I gotta give homie his flowers for the production, I absolutely loved the songs tone which has a bit of a funky-pop vibe but switches near the end to a psychedelic-pop without a notice of a dime. Now the lyrical theme of “Rudimental” to me comes off as the perspective of someone headstrong with emotions, we’ve all acted in the heat of the moment which is how this tracks lyrics seem to be layered, starting off as the lost soul that tells a story of losing the love of their life. I really enjoyed this track, if you can please show this brother some love.
