Dallas, TX based artist dvd (dvdlovesyou) released a new Mario themed single titled “drugs dont werk” on May 2nd, 2020. This track has a psychedelic-indie vibe to it, this feels like that grace period when you take edibles and wait for them to kick in. I really like dvd’s voice, it has a pop-indie blend but his vocals really work with this track, the production is loud, mighty at times but I think that plays into the effect of when your drugs begin to work, everything becomes louder to the point where you solely focus on that sound.
