London based artist Surya (@surya_irisiver) released his single “Any Given Sunday” on February 8th, 2020. Now I was actually contacted by Iris Iver Records who manage Surya and gave me some insight to who he is. Now Surya has been making moves since 2016 even so that in 2018 he was acknowledged by BBC radio as one of the best new artist. Now does the music follow the claim, well the sound is R&B mixed with lo-fi and rap, I dig the track which seems to be a romantic tone as Surya raps about a mysterious partner who he has a deep lust for.
