Lil Nas X premiered a remix of “Rodeo” during his Grammy set and has now released a official music video for the single on February 6th, 2020. Featuring Nas, Lil Nas X takes a mashup up a vampire themed “Thriller” with Nas acting as Morpheus from The Matrix, I’d even say we got a bit of Blade in this music video. Honestly I disliked Nas’s inclusion, didn’t like his verse at all and feel it was mainly for the clout since he seems to mention himself as “Big Nas” which I would draw to many of the younger generational listeners knowing Lil Nas X before probably hearing about Nas, I do like the music video but other then that this was a whatever remix to me. Nas still a GOAT, this just didn’t do anything for me.
