EARFQUAKE – Tyler, the Creator (Music Video)

Tyler, the Creator brings a visual for “EARFQUAKE” off of his freshly released sixth studio album “IGOR” and I gotta say I absolutely love this new vision and sound Tyler brought. The video begins in a 60’s / 70’s game show theme, with Tracee Ellis Ross from Black-ish hosting the show. After a small bit of dialogue Tyler begins a Napoleon Dynamite like dance set with him singing vocals. After some time a white piano is rolled onto the set which sparks Tyler to play. Some pyrotechnics go wrong and smoke begins to blow out of the engine that the piano is spinning on and the entire set is engulfed in flames. A group of firefighters then escort Tyler off the stage and it cuts to him in a full firefighter outfit finishing out the song. While Playboi Carti is featured as a guest vocalist on the song he does not have a cameo in the music video. Above all this is one of my favorite songs off of “IGOR” and it has a very unique video to go along with its beautiful, soulful sound.
